Restoration work at Rock of Ages Lighthouse is completed primarily by volunteers. This work includes carpentry, painting, cleaning, and more. Many volunteers have specialized restoration or boating skills, but these are not required to be a volunteer. Volunteers must commit to at least 1 week of work and provide their own food and travel to Windigo (Ozaagaateng) Ranger Station.
